Same Day Implants
Teeth in a Day is a type of dental implant surgery. Dental implants are an effective way to replace broken or missing teeth because they are placed into to your jawbone and don’t have to be removed at night or rely on other teeth to stay in. The implants function like the roots of a tooth and provide a base for attaching natural-looking crowns. However, traditional dental implant methods require a healing period between placing the implant and attaching the crown.
The Teeth in One Day procedure is unique because a temporary, fully-functional tooth can be placed on the same day that you receive the dental implant. The temporary tooth stays in place until full healing takes place and your custom, tooth crown is ready to be placed. This allows you to experience instant, beautiful results from your dental implant procedure.
Thanks to the stability that dental implants offer, you will be able to smile, talk, and eat with confidence. Implants also help to stabilise and maintain the jaw bone, decreasing future bone loss.
Am I a good candidate For Teeth In One Day?
A consultation with Mr Uzman Haq is the best way to determine whether you are suitable for a Teeth in One Day procedure. He will conduct a comprehensive dental exam to evaluate if this procedure is right for your specific needs.
Generally speaking, you may be a good candidate for Teeth in One Day if you:
- Have one or more missing or damaged teeth.
- Want to see an immediate cosmetic and functional dental improvement.
- Have adequate bone density in the implant area.
- Have healthy oral tissue.
- Want results that can last a lifetime with proper care.
- Do not grind your teeth excessively.
- Do not have medical conditions that may negatively affect bone healing.
- Want an alternative to dentures or bridgework.
There are several factors that may need to be treated before you can be considered for dental implants as they can affect the long term viability of the treatment. For example, if you do not have sufficient bone density in your jaw, we may need to perform a bone graft to support a future implant. If you have gum disease or other oral health issues, these will need to be treated before you can be eligible for the procedure.
If you are not currently an ideal candidate for Teeth in One Day, We may be able to develop a personalised treatment plan to help you become eligible, Some patients require phased implant treatment and you can read more about that here.
